Kate Mahler, CAE Ohio Academy of Family Physicians Kate Mahler is the Co-Lead of the Dissemination, Engagement, and Sustainability Team for the Heart Healthy Ohio Initiative (HHOI). Ms. Mahler is the Deputy Executive Vice President for the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP), and has served the OAFP in various leadership roles since 2003. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, she is also a recognized certified association executive (CAE). Providing strong strategic direction, sound association management guidance, and visionary leadership are the hallmarks of her role at the OAFP. Primary areas of focus include development of corporate and community relationships, physician engagement, and health equity and diversity initiatives. Ms. Mahler currently serves on several volunteer groups including the American Academy of Family Physicians Philanthropic Consortium Steering Committee, the Ohio Patient Centered Primary Care Collaborative Coordinating Council, and several community groups coordinated through her son’s elementary school and hockey team. |
