The MetroHealth System

Stephanie Kanuch is the Project Director of the Heart Healthy Ohio Initiative (HHOI).  Ms. Kanuch has a Master’s degree in Community Health Education and has more than 30 years of public health research experience. In the past two decades, she has conducted research within the Primary Care Clinics at the MetroHealth Medical Center, at medical sites across NorthEast Ohio, and in community settings. Her work has focused on underserved populations. She is also currently leading Dr. Caron’s HRSA-funded primary care training grants. She has coordinated several large survey and intervention studies in primary care and has experience with mixed-methods research, community research, medical education, and quality improvement studies.
